If you are in the elevator and it stops for no apparent reason, remember to remain calm. Press the telephone button located on the elevator button panel and wait to be connected directly to the elevator monitoring company who will assist you. The operator will maintain two-way communication with elevator occupants until help has arrived. Should you become disconnected, simply push the telephone button again to be re-connected to the operator.

Sometimes you can push the ground floor button (1st floor) and the car doors will open onto the ground floor and you can exit. This should be attempted.
